101 in 1001

I have no idea where the "101 in 1001" thing originated, but I have seen it on many blogs that I now follow, and thought it would be a really cool thing to do. For anyone who doesn't know what it is, this is a list of 101 things I want to accomplish over the span of 1001 days. Since I was awful about doing this, and never actually finished my list... this is more of a "things I want to do... at some point..." list. Since the 1001 days things didn't happen.

Blogging & Blog-related
  1. Write a list of 101 things to do in 1001 days
  2. Write 250 blog entries
  3. Write 500 blog entries
  4. Host a giveaway on my blog

Travel & Adventures
  1. Revisit Nashville (completed October 17-19, 2014)
  2. Visit Rhode Island (completed September 30, 2014)
  3. Visit Maine (completed September 30, 2014)
  4. Visit one other state I've never been to
  5. Visit a museum in Washington DC (complete April 2015 - The Holocaust Museum)
  6. Get a passport
  7. Visit a foreign country
  8. Revisit Canada
  9. Visit the National Zoo
  10. Visit the National Aquarium (completed June 2016)
  11. Take a road trip that takes me at least six hours from home (completed September 30, 2014)
  12. Go to a Broadway show
  13. Take Dominick, Lily and Scarlett on a trip

Random & Miscellaneous
  1. Read 10 books I've never read before (So far: "A Walk to Remember" by Nicholas Sparks; "The Fault in Our Stars" by John Green; "Looking for Alaska" by John Green; "Paper Towns" by John Green; "An Abundance of Katherines" by John Green)
  2. Ride an amusement park ride
  3. Pet an elephant
  4. Try Thai food (completed July 2014)
  5. Try Indian food
  6. Try at least one new restaurant (completed)
  7. Ride a horse
  8. Get a pedicure
  9. Have lunch with an old friend from high school
  10. Ride on a boat
  11. Fly a kite
  12. Spend a night in a fancy hotel
  13. Go line dancing 
  14. Slow dance with a guy
  15. Climb up all of the stairs at Barnegat (or similar) lighthouse 
  16. Own and wear a "little black dress

    1. That would be awesome! Well, I also want to get my passport, and travel to another country, so maybe I could do Nova Scotia? ;)
